Motivated individuals who take full advantage of our accelerated career pilot program can conceivably go from "zero" experience to flying for the airlines in as little as 15 to 18 months.

If your aspiration is to fly for a career, now is the time! Train now while the industry is down so that you are ready when it recovers, and it will recover.

For individuals who are interested in a career as a professional pilot, Airgo  has developed a structured step-by-step approach to accomplish that goal.

As you may already know, there are basic ratings or licenses that must be held in order to fly professionally. Once the basic flight training is completed and the flight ratings are awarded, you may then be concerned with building flight experience, which is measured in flight hours. Airlines, cargo operators, charter operations, and corporate flight departments will normally only consider candidates who posses a minimal amount of flight time for employment. Since most individuals fall short of the "employable level" of flight experience immediately after completing their initial flight ratings, the next step may be to find an economical means of building flight time experience. Through Airgo's flight instructor internship phase, you will gain the valuable flight time needed to move to your next career step.

A general summary of the professional pilot program follows:

Professional Pilot Career Development

Phase I: Initial Professional Pilot Training.

Upon completion of the first phase of the professional pilot program, you will have successfully earned the following ratings:

Instrument Pilot
Multi-Engine Pilot

Upon Successful Completion of Phases I & ll, Airgo will hire the new professional pilot as a Certified flight Instructor (CFI). For aggressive individuals, the "employable" flight experience levels can be reached in 6 to 12 months.

Phase IV: Employment as a First Officer .

Upon completion of Phase IIl and acquiring 500 to 1000 hours of additional  flight experience, you may be eligible for an interview as positions become available with a regional airline, cargo complany, corporate flight department or charter company. Airgo's graduates are flying for airlines around the world.
