A general summary of the professional pilot program follows:
Professional Pilot Career Development
Phase I: Initial Professional Pilot Training.
Upon completion of the first phase of the professional pilot program, you
will have successfully earned the following ratings:
Private Pilot
Instrument Pilot
Multi-Engine Pilot
Commercial Pilot
Duration: 6-8 months.
Phase II Obtaining your Certified Flight Instructor Course.
Certified
flight Instructor
Instrument Instructor
Multi-Engine Instructor
Duration: 2 to 3 months
Phase III: Paid internship as a Professional Certified Flight Instructor
Upon Successful Completion of Phases I & ll, Airgo will hire the new professional
pilot as a Certified flight Instructor (CFI). For aggressive individuals, the "employable" flight experience levels can be
reached in 6 to 12 months.
Phase IV: Employment as a First Officer .
Upon completion
of Phase IIl and acquiring 500 to 1000 hours of additional flight experience, you may be eligible for an interview as
positions become available with a regional airline, cargo complany, corporate flight department or charter company. Airgo's
graduates are flying for airlines around the world.
